Classification Title: Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor Job Description: The College of Medicine plays an important role in the education of medical students, resident physicians and fellows through its collaboration with the UF Health Physicians practices, UF Health Shands Hospital, and the Malcolm Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center. As a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our educational mission by teaching junior medical students, serving on hospital, medical and department committees, and participating in other department activities, including rounds, special lectures and postgraduate courses. In addition, faculty members are expected to participate in scholarly activities, including research and quality initiatives as appropriate for experience and interests. Goals: - Provide care as an obstetrician/gynecologist at UF Health Shands Hospital - Provide in-hospital clinical coverage for obstetric and gynecologic care on assigned schedule.
