Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: Position Information The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty position as Professor – Research. The primary emphasis of this position is on research and scholarly activity. The faculty member is responsible for developing, leading, and sustaining an independent and/or collaborative research program that advances veterinary medicine, biomedical sciences, animal health, public health, agricultural sciences, and One Health initiatives aligned with the mission of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). This position supports UMES’s 1890 land-grant mission through research excellence, student mentorship, and strategic growth of the School of Veterinary Medicine’s research enterprise. Salary Information: Salary range: $150,000 – $190,000 annually, commensurate with academic rank and experience.
