Job Description The Opportunity: The Department of Security Studies and International Affairs (SSIA) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, FL., invites candidates to apply for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Cyber Strategy. The successful candidate should have experience in one or more of the following cyber disciplines: strategy, policy, information operations, irregular warfare, and/or strategic competition below the threshold of armed conflict. The successful candidate will contribute to SSIA’s interdisciplinary Homeland Security & Intelligence program, which encompasses areas such as critical infrastructure protection, intelligence analysis, and strategic competition short of war. Primary tasks include undergraduate teaching and research, student advising, and relationship building with external organizations and agencies. The position requires teaching flexibility to cover a variety of courses in cyberspace strategy, cyberspace law, cyber-enabled influence operations, cyber resilience and resistance, introduction to cyberspace operations and terminology, and cyber tools and tradecraft.
