Job description
The Department of Anesthesiology provides state-of-the-art care supporting USC surgical, pain and critical care patients. Behind the success of the Department clinical service is a unique and highly-talented administrative team contributing to the Department’s on-going development. The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a Financial Analyst I to join the team. Essential job duties include, but are not limited to: Prepare weekly visual reports on Operating Room scheduling efficiency and utilization. Generate recurring reports for business operations, including monthly payroll reconciliation, and faculty clinical/nonclinical effort tracking Process accounting journal entries as assigned. Monitor and analyze Departmental financial performance on a regular basis; report findings and identify opportunities for improvement Extract large volumes of data from organization’s systems, and perform comprehensive analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities Provide analytical support for annual budgeting process Assist in the preparation and monitoring of monthly invoicing and payroll processes for designated providers Utilize advanced analytical tools (e.g., Tableau) to proces...
