Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) - Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork; proficiency with routine nursing procedures; comfort with documentation in an electronic health record (EPIC). - Provide direct nursing care in the ambulatory clinic, including pre-visit assessment, in-clinic evaluation, and post-visit education. - Triage patient concerns, gather clinical information, monitor vitals, and administer medications per protocol. - Assist with in-clinic procedures relevant to the ambulatory general urology population (e.g., urodynamics studies, etc) while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety. - Manage urinary catheters and drainage systems as applicable; provide patient education on care and maintenance. - Educate patients and families on pre-procedure instructions, post-procedure care, bladder management, symptom monitoring, and follow-up plans. - Document accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR); ensure HIPAA complianc...
