Aircraft Mechanic Apprentice

Job description

This position works under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor or other A&P Mechanics assisting in the maintenance and preventive maintenance of the fleet/leaseback aircraft, components and equipment. Responsibilities Include: Taxi and run up aircraft Perform 50/100 Hour Inspections at required intervals on all aircraft and assist on Annual Inspection under the supervision of an A&P IA Demonstrate the maturity, judgment and analytical ability to learn to perform all aspects of aircraft maintenance and preventive maintenance on fleet/leaseback aircraft Be able to troubleshoot and repair malfunction problems Assure completeness of all assigned work documents and records and assist in the cleanup of the maintenance work area Perform Coordinate all activities and complete all work required/assigned by D.O.M., Shift Supervisor or supervising A&P Mechanics Duties may include: Hanger maintenance Admin assistance: Parts and material runner: Aircraft care: Shop equipment maintenance: Education/Special Training/Experience/Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent, or any combination of education and experience that enables one to perform the job functions Ability to read and interp...
