1st Shift Shipping/Receiving Department: Materials/Inventory: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: US - Wisconsin - Madison Reporting To: Tom Trotter: Description: Responsible for the handling and processing of shipments, receiving, work orders, pick slips, transporting inventory, Kanban replenishment and maintaining accurate inventory locations and counts throughout the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for the accurate and efficient handling and processing of inbound and outbound shipments. This includes receiving, inspecting, and verifying materials against packing slips and purchase orders; preparing and fulfilling work orders and pick slips; and ensuring timely staging and shipment of goods. - Performs material movement activities such as transporting inventory throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment, supporting Kanban replenishment systems, and maintaining proper stock levels at designated locations. - Maintains accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts, updating system transactions, and ensuring inventory is properly labeled, stored, and organized.
