Field Operations Planner, SIES Transformer Shop

Job description

Plans, coordinates, and evaluates the assignments and activities of Astoria Transformer Shop crews to effect the safe, timely, efficient and reliable reconditioning and repair of electric distribution equipment in accordance with operating procedures; engineering plans, procedures, and specifications; and environmental, health, and safety instructions and procedures. Develops and executes plans that are aligned with the organizations budgetary goals and key performance indicators. Develop and maintain working relationships with every regional construction group, and their work organizers and planners. Core Responsibilities: - Coordinates and monitors field activities associated with the installation, maintenance and repair of electric distribution equipment. Compiles information and prepares field repair and field support cost avoidance reports. - Coordinates work with Electric Operations regional construction organizations and Distribution Engineering in order to provide support as necessary and as requested for various programs and activities such as, but not limited to, ICS support, field repairs, placing & removing grounds, anode installation, PTO installation, grating repairs,...
