Machine Operator

Job description

Our Machine Operators are responsible for following all processes and procedures to ensure high-quality parts are produced within the allotted time and meet all specifications. You will be working closely with your manager and co-workers in order to understand the requirements of routine maintenance and how to change over and inspect parts. We support cross training and encourage growth in all our co-workers. - Load and unload components according to procedure established. - Read drawings and execute inspection procedures to ensure part specifications are being met. - Interface with machine controller as required to execute tasks. - Use of appropriate precision inspection equipment to measure tolerances - Adhere to calibration and quality procedures and processes. - Treat and use all equipment (tools, measuring devices, computers, etc) with care. - Use of hand tools for finishing activities such as deburring or filing. - Ensure quality of part meets customer specifications, and raise concerns when required. - Promptly initiate quality processes for non-conforming parts, and follow procedures to control those components. - Maintain a clean working area. - Routine maintenance on the...
