Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Radiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/per diem Technologist (CT, MRI, or IR) / TH Medical Radiographer 1 (Evenings). The successful candidate will: - Demonstrate the ability to perform all MRI, CT, or IR procedures with established protocols, with minimal supervision - Be responsible for patient care while performing imaging, to include accuracy of patient identification/correct procedure/correct laterality. - Demonstrate ability to deal with emergent situations involving patient care issues. - Coordinate patient schedules to ensure that patient procedures are completed promptly. - Maintain conditions in MRI, CT, or IR area which fos...
