This position plays a key role in supporting Quality Care and Stewardship by ensuring accurate diagnosis coding that reflects residents' true clinical picture, supports regulatory compliance, and enables appropriate reimbursement. Through strong relationships, auditing, and education, the ICD‑10 Nurse Specialist serves as a trusted resource across our communities. The ICD-10 Nurse Specialist will: - Serve as the ICD‑10 subject matter expert for Vetter Senior Living operations Review and audit: - Skilled and non‑skilled admissions - Diagnosis sheets and physician orders - Therapy diagnosis documentation - Ensure ICD‑10 diagnoses are accurate, supported, and properly sequenced - Identify trends contributing to billing errors, RTPs, or denials - Provide targeted education and coaching to clinical and inte...
