Data Protection Team: The Privacy & Data Protection Engineering (PDPE) organization at Netflix ensures responsible data use and provides guidance and tooling to manage data privacy across the company. PDPE is a cross-functional team comprising Privacy Engineering, Data Protection, and Privacy Infrastructure Engineering and is part of the larger Security, Privacy, and Assurance (SPA) organization. The Data Protection team focuses on developing policies on data collection and use with privacy as a foundational layer to enable Netflix’s rapidly growing businesses.
