ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a Nuclear Safety Analyst, USQDs to join our team supporting the Oak Ridge National Laboratory ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Responsibilities: Supports the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles, core functions, and the Isotek Safety Culture. Implements and maintains compliance with the Unreviewed Safety Question (USQ) Program as required by 10 CFR 830 Subpart B. Reviews drafts of work packages, procedures, facility modifications, and other documents for impacts to the safety basis and integration of the SA into facility activities. Identifies and escalates potential USQ issues to facility management. Attends Plan of the Day/Plan of the Week meetings, work planning sessions, walkdowns, and Data Review Committee meetings as necessary in support of facility operations. Develops and peer reviews USQ Determinations (USQDs), USQD Screenings, and provides training on the USQ process while also recommending changes to the USQD procedure.
