This is a Bank role, working Ad hoc shifts. Spire Wellesley Hospital has 3 Theatres (2 laminar flow) and an endoscopy unit, a 33 bedded Surgical Ward covering a wide variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Gynae, Ophthalmology, Spinal, Urology, ENT. Role Overview: The Health & Safety Assistant supports the delivery of a safe clinical and non-clinical environment by assisting with the implementation of the organisation’s Health & Safety policies and procedures. A key responsibility of the role is delivering Face Fit Testing and Manual Handling Training, ensuring that all staff—including clinical, support, and frontline personnel—are competent and compliant with healthcare safety standards. The postholder plays a crucial role in helping reduce workplace incidents, supporting infection prevention efforts, and promoting a positive safety culture.
