Location/Department: Hospital - Environmental Services $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!! 75/pp - 1st shift 7a-3p includes every other weekend Job Summary: Performs assigned tasks to provide a clean, safe, sanitary environment for the staff and those being treated and cared for at MMH properties. Duties/Responsibilities: - Cleans occupied patient rooms by using products that clean & disinfect surfaces according to established procedure & manufacturer spec. - Cleans unoccupied patient rooms – in addition to the above, disinfects beds horizontally & vertically. Cleans ECG leads, blood pressure cuffs, IV pole, disinfects commode chairs, high/low dust area. - Cleans & disinfects restrooms & fixtures. - Cleans nonpatient areas such as offices, corridors, lobbies, meeting rooms, elevators & waiting rooms. - Dry & wet mop floors. - Spot cleans walls, doors, ceiling, vents, & light fixtures. - Keeps trash cans in assigned areas pulled. Takes trash to compactor, properly disposes of red bag waste. - Maintains paper towels & toilet tissue in assigned area. - Demonstrates that safety ladder is used properly. - Changes needle boxes when level is ¾ full or as requested. - All cleaning bottles are shown to...
