Job Description Summary Locations: Berlin, Dresden, Erlangen, or Salzbergen (Germany) | All genders | English Required | HVDC Control & Protection | Dynamic Performance Study | Protection Coordination Study | AC/DC Interaction Study | Harmonic Stability Performance | PSCAD | RSCAD Job Description: What You'll Do: Core Engineering Responsibilities: - Lead the design, implementation, and verification of HVDC Control and Protection systems, with a strong focus on engineering design—not just testing or validation - EMT modelling of HVDC systems, AC network equivalents, and renewable systems (wind parks, solar PV, etc.) in PSCAD - Convert or model AC network equivalents in RSCAD and interface with control and protection hardware equipment to validate control and protection systems System Analysis & Optimization: - Analyze and improve the performance of HVDC Control and Protection systems through: - Dynamic performance studies - Protection coordination studies - AC/DC interaction studies - Harmonic stability performance Business Support Activities: - Support tendering, operations, contractual, and after-sales activities including: - Analyzing requirements for HVDC protection systems base...
