Ocean Freight Pricing Specialist

Job description

We are looking for an Ocean Freight Pricing Specialist to join our team and work with us in Sarıyer, Istanbul. Your Responsibilities: - Guide customers to the most suitable service based on their requests, - Provide quick and effective solutions to pricing-related issues to ensure high customer satisfaction, - Accurately, effectively, and promptly price freight requests received from sales teams, overseas agents, and customers, - Prepare necessary documents for tender participation, - Work on alternative service solutions for requests received by the ocean freight department, - Utilize the infrastructure to obtain accurate and effective freight quotations from carriers, shipping agents, co-loaders, and inland transport companies in line with the company’s service requirements, - Create and regularly update a list of daily quotations, - Share weekly quotation reports, including number and details, with the department manager, - Maximize the use of special freight rates and promotions provided to the company and guide the sales teams accordingly, - Conduct regular meetings with carriers, shipping agents, and co-loaders in line with the company’s objectives.
