***Position can be filled at Project Engineer levels 1, 2 and 3 depending on experience level*** Job Summary: Manage the project engineering and detailed design phase and manage engineering services during the project life cycle for designated projects within the Generation Electric Projects & Construction organization. Apply engineering project management during the project life cycle including project initiation / conceptual engineering, engineering planning, detailed design and drawing submittal, constructability reviews, change control, product testing and acceptance, transition of the product or service to the internal customer and ensure optimum product performance. Manage the development of the engineered product (product scope) and decomposition into a constructible project scope solution while achieving the integrated project objectives. Ensures the elaboration of product scope via best engineering practices and industry standards into specifications that translates into effective project scope definition, integration and organization (WBS), and associated validation and control.
