Our preference is for this role to be HYBRID, working in‑office Tuesday–Thursday at our Merrill, WI office. CM Regent, A subsidiary of Church Mutual Insurance Company, is seeking an Underwriter II for our Education Center of Excellence. Within the scope of established binding authority and company underwriting guidelines, this candidate will evaluate complex Education submissions, identify potential exposures, recommend appropriate coverage solutions, and offer strategic risk management advice. They will ensure accurate pricing of insurance products specifically tailored to Education risks. What you'll be doing: Within established binding authority, analyze insurance submissions, recognize exposures, provide coverage alternatives, offer risk management suggestions, and adequately price insurance coverage on accounts of small to medium size and low complexity within company underwriting guidelines. Achieve corporate goals by reviewing account characteristics and taking appropriate action. Develop knowledge of insurance issues, products, trends in the market, and pricing principles.
