Location: Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: Yes Job Summary: Geisinger is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician to join our team in Danville, PA. Job Duties: Opportunity Details - Schedule rotate between Peds ID physicians - Clinic hours: M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes outpatient, inpatient rounding, and Peds ID consults) - Outpatient clinics: rotate among Peds ID physicians - Call coverage: Peds ID physicians and CHOP Peds ID. - Limited O/N call coverage (5 Weekday o/n) and weekend coverage (1 weekend per month) - O/N calls are light; all are phone-call only - Pediatric ID is a consultative service - One physician partner with a collaboration with Pediatric Specialties - Nurse coordinator helps to manage Epic in Basket and referrals - AI dictation - Telemedicine available - 41 bed NICU - 14 bed PICU - 36 beds Children’s 2 and Children’s 3 - Pediatric psychologist, nutritional support, pharmacy support, care management support, Peds ID social worker - Affiliation with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medic...
