Join Our Team in the Prepared Foods Division as a Cost Analyst! Summary: The Cost Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and cost analysis for the plant. This position prepares daily, weekly, and monthly production cost reports, assists with budgeting and forecasting, and supports plant leadership with financial insights that drive operational performance. The role also ensures compliance with Tyson Foods’ accounting policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). REQUIREMENTS: Education : Experience : - Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production cost reports. - Support the plant self-audit program, including fixed asset and inventory reviews. - Assist with annual operating and capital budgets. - Serve as backup for payroll processing and controller-related weekly tasks. - Review financial data and explain spending and cost variances. - Develop and maintain spreadsheets and reports for management and ad-hoc requests. - Support cost savings and efficiency pro...
