Machinist Mechanic PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating, through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We have an opportunity at our Martinez Refinery in California and are seeking a talented Machinist Mechanic to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. The Machinist Mechanic position is responsible for the maintenance of process equipment and machinery. This includes Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Gearboxes, Motors, Fans, Blowers, Valves, and Specialty equipment. Job Responsibilities May Include: Maintain, repair, & overhaul process rotating machinery in a safe & efficient manner in both a shop and field environment. Set-up and operate machine tools to manufacture and repair parts to specifications using, Manual & CNC Lathes, Vertical & Horizontal Mills, Cylindrical & Surface grinders. Able to use precision measuring equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, Protractors, & Indicators). Interpreting tolerances and dimensions from drawings, sketches, & engineering documents.
