Serviceman Facilities 2026-2027 - ( 260000NB ) Description Job Overview The Serviceman Facilities will perform semi-skilled routine mechanical work in the maintenance and servicing of white fleet vehicles in accordance with prescribed preventive maintenance schedules. This incumbent will emphasize their work on safety, cost control, and responsiveness to operational needs in order to provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation with well maintained vehicles. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operational: - Conduct preventive maintenance inspections of fleet in accordance with the preventive maintenance schedules - Perform oil & filter changes - Inspect and replace belts & hoses - Remove, replace wiper blades & light bulbs - Grease & lubricate vehicle parts in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance Schedule - Perform fluid levels inspections on fleet vehicles and fill as necessary - Check, remove and install service batteries - Check, remove, repair and install tires on fleet vehicles - Install and/or remove vehicle seats or other equipment such as ratchets; shoulder belts; safety hardness; and make minor repairs as needed - Perform/respond to r...
