Estimator – Grading, Utilities, and Site Work Location: Columbia, SC (Travel within SC, NC, GA may be required) Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 (Based on Experience) Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Industry: Heavy Civil Construction Direct Hire Opportunity Company Overview: Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a fast-growing Heavy Civil Contractor specializing in site development, industrial and commercial projects, utilities, mining reclamation, overburden removal, and demolition. This company prides itself on delivering accurate, timely estimates and building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Position Summary: The Heavy Civil Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed, accurate cost estimates for grading, utilities, wastewater, site development, and infrastructure projects. Projects typically range from $500,000 to $20,000,000 and may include roads, bridges, and other civil works. This role involves collaboration with engineers, contractors, and clients to evaluate project scope, assess risk, and identify value-engineering opportunities.
