Scheduled Weekly Hours: 16 Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Shift/Schedule: - Part Time - Scheduled for 16 Weekly Hours - Shift Times - Days/Afternoons - Weekends & Holidays - As Needed Job Summary: The Psychoeducation Specialist provides direct patient care under the supervision of a designated healthcare professional in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and within policies, procedures, and guidelines of Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH). Essential Functions: Facilitates individual and/or support groups (within Psychoeducation scope) and may participate in family meetings and treatment team meetings. Provides community resource knowledge and handles coordination of related activities. May provide 1:1 patient safety companion service as needed, and patient checks as assigned. Care planning and discharge planning in collaboration with Social Worker team. Participates in continued education and in-service training.
