Job Description DOB’s IT Operations Help Desk is the primary intake for all IT requests, notification of systems issues, and general inquiries. As new systems are developed or business units are added to existing systems, the number of requests increase weekly. The Help Desk receives several hundred requests a week, including password resets, Outlook issues, and general outages. The year-round intern (College Aide) will assist with PC configuration and set up as well as work on PC related issues. Additional duties include assessing and responding to individual issues submitted to IT (ticketing), software resolution, and hardware resolution. Job Description: Under direction, the IT Help Desk Intern will: - Work in or manage a service desk environment - Work on system projects - Work with ticket system, SERVICENOW, OTI - Create tickets for the DOB staff as requests are submitted - Handle simple IT tasks such as resetting user passwords, moving PCs, entering data in Excel spreadsheets and creating Pivot Tables WORK HOURS: Up to 17 hours/week when school is in session Up to 35 hours/week during school break REMOTE WORK: When working a 35 hour/week schedule, this position may be eligibl...
