Purpose of the Role The purpose of the environmental services assistant role is to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the centre, front of house, back of house, car park and around the perimeter. This is the first and lasting impression of visitors to centre centre therefore an integrally important role to the centre presentation. To work with other team members to clean the common areas safely and efficiently. You are responsible for the day to day cleaning of specifically agreed areas to the required standards. You will have the ability to work both individually and within a team. You will be capable of carrying out your duties without constant supervision and be proactive in ensuring your area of responsibility meets the highest possible standards of cleanliness and safety. To contribute to the delivery and implementation of a high-quality waste and recycling collection service and support the operations team management to maximise income from services. To support the principals of waste minimisation and recycling, promote a positive image to improve the local environment.
