WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Transportation Support Specialist is a non-exempt position responsible for providing transportation and on-site supervision to children in out-of-home care. - Provide transportation and supervision of children to/from school, office, foster and/or group homes, and other locations in the community - Provide supervision to youth at the office, during transport, or in other community locations, as required - Provide, strengthen, and maintain a positive mentoring role by developing rapport with youth under supervision - Utilize de-escalation and intervention techniques to assist in stabilizing youth in crisis - Assist other program staff and intervene in crisis situations as necessary - Attempt to create, strengthen, and maintain positive, supportive working relationships between youth, caregivers, and other professionals involved in serving the youth - Provide completed documentation for services rendered within the required timefra...
