Job description

Pay Range: $3.00 - $5.50 / per + tips This position is the preparation of drinks, mostly alcoholic beverages, for customers in the bar as well as for customers seated in the regular dining area. Interacts with and monitors bar customers to assure that everyone is 21 or older, does not exceed safe drinking limits and that all Alcohol Beverage Regulations for their locale are closely followed. Problems should be directed to the manager on duty immediately Duties and Responsibilities: - Selling of alcoholic beverages to customers - Checking the customer’s identification to confirm that the customer is of legal drinking age. - Taking payments from customers. - Making sure all drinks made are accounted for and paid for correctly. - Keep the bar well stocked by maintaining the liquor, garnishes and glasses at the bar. - Refuse to server customers that exhibit signs of intoxication. - Call cabs for customers that are inebriated. - Keeping records of tabs so in the end they can know how much a customer has had and what is to be paid. - Pour drinks quickly as per customer’s specifications. - Keep the bar clean.
