Contract and Shipping Management Officer

Job description

The Contract and Shipping Management Officer reports to the Sales Operations Manager and is part of a team managing Boliden SOMINCOR’s concentrate sales contracts execution wordwide, i.e., Ensuring the best commercial processes to optimize flows and control their compliance with Commercial and other Corporate Procedures; Maximising net sales revenue, accounts receivables; Minimizing commercial vendors’ costs. Key Responsibilities: Execute concentrate sales contracts in compliance with the Commercial Procedures. Prepare and issue or check all documentation for each shipment on a timely manner, including but not limited to concentrate sales invoices, vendors invoices and all relevant logistical documentation with customers, port agents, surveyors, port authorities and insurance companies, in accordance with all contractual and legal procedures Monitor the arrival of vessels at the load and destination ports. Appoint supervision companies, analyze the discharge reports to ensure compliance with the conditions defined in the contract.
