The Opportunity: Avantor | NuSil is looking for a Quality Assurance Lead Technician to join our team! The working hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM CST, at our Irving, TX facility. What we’re looking for: How you will thrive and create an impact The QA Lead Technician supports the analytical testing validation quality team by independently doing hands-on lab duties, including complex testing and documentation and their troubleshooting. This role ensures consistent adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements in the design, development, and validation of testing. - Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (or related field) is preferred - Experience: Laboratory experience required varies by education level; 0 years with a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years with an Associate’s degree, or 4 years with a High School Diploma or GED - Experience with analytical techniques (GC, GPC, UV/Vis, FTIR, rheology, thermal analysis). - Experience with basic physical chemistry parameters (pH, pressure, temperature). - Proven experience using the Scientific Method and laboratory practices. - Experience using calibrated...
