About the team Many MEMS devices incorporate moving mechanical structures and therefore require extremely clean surfaces and highly stable processes to ensure proper functionality and long-term reliability. The wet chemistry area supports these requirements using a wide range of equipment, from manually operated wet benches to fully automated chemical processing systems. The equipment utilizes a variety of chemistry andgases. Some of the equipment in this department includes: Manual and automated wet benches for cleaning and etching Solvent and acid spray processing tools (automated) Vacuum ovens for drying and curing (high temperature) Electroplating systems for metal deposition.
