Small Equipment Technician

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing basic service and repairs on a limited portfolio of handpieces and/or small equipment as assigned by Supervisor Performs diagnosis and failure analysis using appropriate test equipment and tooling. Documents device evaluation, service recommendations, parts required and preventative maintenance feedback on service work orders. Repairs and performs quality testing of products to established specifications as required. May provide technical support on a limited portfolio of products as required Performs other tasks as assigned by lead or management. ​ SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Basic electrical / mechanical skills desired. Basic math and logic skills required. Basic computer skills and software use desired. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
