Company: Providence at Home with Compassus This is a collective bargaining position - Day Shift - 5 days - Full Time Position Summary: The Home Health Aide is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The Home Health Aide is responsible for carrying out assigned duties that promote patient comfort and support and activities of daily living. Position Specific Responsibilities: - Provides personal care/hygiene to the home health patient, including but not limited to toileting and personal appearance. - Assists the patient with transfers, exercise and/or ambulation. - Turns and positions patients who are bed bound. - Assists with Range of Motion (ROM) appropriate for the patient as directed by the RN or Therapist. - Assists patients with meals and nutritional support. - Changes simple non-sterile dressings or external bags per state and federal...
