What you will do: Hot Rolled Products Port Talbot is the UK’s leading supplier of Hot rolled coil, with up to 83,000 Tonnes of slab a week, processed to various thickness and grades for hundreds of different customers all over the world. Steel slab is reduced to coil and either sent direct to customers or for downstream processing through a highly complex and high speed rolling mill. You will be working within the Primary Operations work area covering the Slab Yards and Re-heat furnaces, providing a complete range of Engineering activities to optimise production in the area. As part of the team, you become a key member of Tata Steel, operating as the first point of contact to ensure the continued output of the Hot Mill.
