Time as Reported Psychiatrist needed for Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program

Description The Department of Psychiatry, a department of the University of Rochester, is recruiting a time-as-reported faculty psychiatrist for the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) to help cover shifts as needed (not to exceed two eight hour shifts a week). Join a vibrant, multidisciplinary team providing acute psychiatric care in an 24-hour emergency setting. This practice location is currently using the EPIC electronic medical records system and training will be provided. NYS Licensed psychiatrists applying to this position will be expected to secure an individual DEA and will be required to complete a post-offer health assessment and drug test at the University’s Employee Health site in Rochester, NY at least one month prior to start. With over 10,000 visits per year, we are the primary provider of emergency psychiatric services to our diverse and vibrant community in Western New York.
