Position Summary: The Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) reports to the Program Director and builds trust with patients, aiding in their recovery journey. Utilizing various resources, the PRS helps patients regain independence and master their recovery. Responsibilities: - Provide practical support, mentoring, advocacy, and problem-solving. - Educate patients and families on mental illness and addiction. - Collect and report data as required. - Assist patients in setting and achieving recovery goals. - Support patients in joining and sustaining self-help groups. - Utilize tools like WRAP for individual wellness plans. - Teach problem-solving techniques in group settings. - Support pati...
