Position Summary An Assembler is responsible for putting together components or parts to create finished products. They follow blueprints, work instructions, or diagrams to assemble products using various tools and equipment. Assemblers may work in manufacturing or production environments and may be required to perform quality checks and ensure that products meet specifications. They may also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area and reporting any issues or defects to supervisors. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work as part of a team are important skills for an Assembler. Supervision: None: Essential Responsibilities: - Build and assemble mechanical components for Switchgear and/or Breaker units according to engineering drawings and customer specifications. - Perform maintenance and proper use of tools. - Perform in process inspections; ensure quality by following standard work instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality. - Perform all ship prep functions including splitting gear. - Promote a safety culture as well as attend all safety meetings. - Ensure that work areas remain clean and well organized.
