Description The Georgetown University Department of Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology has a rich and diverse teaching portfolio and makes contributions both to the School of Medicine curriculum as well as the curricula of multiple graduate programs housed both within and outside the department. Our department is seeking to hire a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor on Medical Educator Track with expertise in mammalian endocrinology who will be prepared to teach medical and graduate students in their first year. This position will require in-person teaching on the Georgetown University Medical Center campus in Washington DC and the George Mason University campus in Manassas, VA. We anticipate that the portfolio of the position will expand over the next several years to include course co-directorship, teaching additional subjects central to the department’s mission, and opportunities for educational scholarship. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Physiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related subject by the time they begin the position.
