JOB TITLE: Security Officer POSITION CODE: 004413 GRADE: Non-Union DEPARTMENT: Security REPORTS TO: Security Supervisor PAY TYPE: BENEFITS: $17 Hourly 21 yrs of age Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance , 401(k), Paid Time Off, Education Assistance, Team Member Discounts POSITION SUMMARY: Security Officers are responsible for the basic security functions for the casino area and land facilities including superior guest service. Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Check identification to ensure patrons are 21 years of age or older. Provide security and protection for guests and casino property. Handle all monetary transactions between the Casino Cage and gaming tables in compliance with the Illinois Gaming Board Regulations and as required by Harrah’s Management. Operate in accordance with established procedures. Maintain visual surveillance of the Casino Cage and surrounding area.
