An accurate, complete record is produced for each exam. Job Description: Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to): 1. Performs all aspects of diagnostic radiology including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopy, G.U. contrast exams, and operative and portable exams. a. Able to operate imaging equipment and other devices as appropriate. b. Positions patients to obtain anatomic information. c. Calculates exposure factors and collimates correctly to reduce radiation exposure to patients. Practices radiation protection for patients and personnel. d. Evaluates images for technical quality and use sound judgment to take additional images to better demonstrate pathology. e. Evaluates orders for appropriate history and clinical information and seek guidance on the correct exam if questionable. f. Reports all equipment malfunctions and hazards to the appropriate s...
