Molding Operator l Department: Manufacturing & Distribution - General Labor Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Ashtabula, OH: Reporting To: James Long: Description: The Molding Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating rubber molding presses to produce quality molded parts according to production schedules and customer specifications. This role includes preparing molds, loading and unloading materials, monitoring press cycles, inspecting finished parts for quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Operators are expected to follow all safety, quality, and production procedures while working collaboratively with team members, setup technicians, and maintenance staff to ensure consistent machine performance and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: - Perform press operations to include but not limited to load and unload stock & inserts, finish, sort, gauge, cut and/or package - Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to Molding Supervisor - Read and follow M3 Routing work instructions - Perform basic data input for job production & labor reporting - Required to be familiar with all presses, proper methods, tools and equi...
