JOB TITLE: SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY CLINICAL COORDINATOR DEPARTMENT: HEALTH SCIENCES SALARY RANGE: BASED ON EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: FLSA: EXEMPT: IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Surgical Technology Program Director SCHEDULE DETAILS: Full-time/9 month position/PSRS: Position Summary: The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for the instruction, management and clinical coordination of assigned surgical technology courses. Coordinator must demonstrate effective teaching methods and remain competent within subject matter as documented by appropriate professional credentials or certifications. Other major responsibilities include participating in department and college-wide committees and assignments. This position is responsible for 12-15 credit hours of instruction per semester. The Instructor is allowed to teach two classes for overload per semester. More than two classes for overload is rare and requires approval of Dean and Provost.
