College of Nursing and Health Sciences Department of Adult Nursing: Part-Time Lecturer Positions: The Department of Adult Nursing invites applications for Part-time Lecturer (PTL) opportunities at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Opportunities are available for clinical and didactic assignments. Part-time faculty are expected to engage in course-based continuous quality improvement/assessment per college processes and be committed to rapid pedagogical and other academic process changes as driven by environmental conditions. Undergraduate Level Teaching: Opportunities primarily include clinical agency, clinical skills laboratory, and/or simulation instruction in the pre-licensure and accelerated BS Adult Health clinical courses. Didactic teaching opportunities are periodically available. Requirements: Preferred individuals for clinical education assignments will have a Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program, recent clinical practice experience, and clinical education experience in higher education or a healthcare institution with a focus on Adult Health or Medical-Surgical Nursing.
