Job description

Under supervision, performs simple and routine tasks or tests within, but not necessarily limited to a prescribed area of expertise. Duties will be varied and will fall under the generally accepted category of computer technical work. Essential Responsibilities: Assist with the installation, fabrication, modification and operation of test equipment used on special projects. Operate a variety of computer systems to assist in the collection and compilation of data. Perform a wide variety of duties in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computers and peripheral equipment. Test electronic circuits and components to locate and replace defective components, P.C. boards, using appropriate electronic test equipment and hand tools. Maintain and repair PC hardware and auxiliary hardware. Maintain parts inventory, technical documentation and record of repairs. Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul of repair of equipment. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
