WHAT YOU’LL DO: The Security Investigator is responsible for conducting investigations to minimize potential liability and reducing risk for Rio Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. This includes partnering closely with Surveillance, Legal, gaming regulators and Human Resources to identify and resolve complaints of criminal activity and misconduct. ROLE EXPECTATIONS: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Directly partner with Surveillance and gaming regulators on policies and processes for managing various matters and situations in gaming areas. Work with internal legal, risk and HR departments to support inquiries and investigations of possible employee misconduct. Conduct investigations in the utmost professional, ethical and confidentiality manner. Follow and abide by all set policies and procedures to properly investigate, document and present findings to the appropriate authority. Attend unemployment, arbitration and other legal court proceedings when requested. Create and maintain an incident database to track, analyze and refer back to for historical data, and proactively provide feedback on trends and patterns to company executives.
