Registered Nurse – Same Day Services (SDS) The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit. - 12 Pre-Op Bays and 12 Post-Op Bays - Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday from 5:30am – 7pm. - Call: Moderate Sedation Call weekends/holidays from 7am – 3:30pm. Same Day Services weekend rotation and on call holidays- hours 6am – 2:30pm. - SDS provides pain control or relief through traditional & contemporary modalities which include cutting – edge procedures and alternative treatments such as acupuncture. - PRN - will need to work a min of 24 hours off shift per 6-week schedule. - 8-hour day/evening - Weekend and Holiday as needed. - Shift and Weekend Differential Eligibility Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Job Class Specifics: 1.
