Overview Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our planning yard team within the Integrated Power Systems department. D446, Integrated Power Systems department is responsible for the systems integration of the electric drive propulsion for COLUMBIA Class. The planning yard team is responsible for supporting high voltage interfaces within IPS. This includes supporting reviews of design deliverables, developing procedures to support high voltage (HV) construction, providing training for the trades and deck plate support during HV evolutions. Key responsibilities: - Supporting HV evolution preparation including but not limited to HV training, HV cable installation procedures reviews, and design deliverable reviews - Deck plate support during HV evolutions - Supporting IPS component teams and ensuring interface requirements are being met - Changing course and reprioritizing tasks on short notice as needed for construction support - Supporting tasking and mentoring for more junior members of the team - Interacting regularly with customers for various decisions and presentations - Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure compl...
