Parks Presentation Officer Reference number: 11151: Closing date: 11:00pm, Friday 29th May - Full-time permanent position. - Salary commencing at $72,088.20 per annum plus 12% superannuation (commensurate with experience). - Band 3. The Opportunity: Moonee Valley City Council has an opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual to assist in the care, maintenance and enhancement of the municipality’s Streetscapes, WSUD & Bike paths. As part of a team committed to providing high-quality services, this role helps ensure our outdoor spaces are maintained to the high standard expected by our community. Responsibilities: - Undertake horticultural and park maintenance tasks, including planting, mowing, pruning, mulching, and general upkeep of parks, gardens, reserves and streetscapes. - Safely operate and maintain a range of plant, machinery, tools and equipment, completing safety checks and reporting defects as required. - Support and guide apprentices or other team members as delegated. - Record all required operational activities on Council’s asset management system “Confirm”. - Report maintenance issues, equipment conditions, and any public requests or complaints to supervisors...
