I. JOB SUMMARY Kitchen Aides assist the Cooks and Food Service Supervisor with the delivery of nutritious and delicious meals to Fowler Center campers, staff, and guests. II. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Job Responsibilities: - Help Cook with any needed food prep before meals. - Assist with inventory and put away food on truck delivery days. - Clean and Sanitize food service and dining areas after each meal and as needed. - Kitchen Area- including sinks, equipment, fridges, freezers, and storage areas. - Dining Hall Tables, Chairs, and Floors. - Serve campers, staff, and guests food and coffee - Help with Special Events as needed. - Communicate clearly, respectfully and professionally with staff, campers, parents and volunteers. - Participate in all training activities that are provided by the Agency for professional growth and skill development, including pre-camp orientation. - Work in collaboration with other staff to make it a rewarding, safe, and positive camp experience for everyone. - Creates a nurturing and positive environment that supports the mission and vision of the Agency. - Performs other duties as assigned by the Food Service Supervisor.
